# RaceAlpha

> Horse racing ratings for Australian and Hong Kong meetings. Every runner gets RaceAlpha's own win chance, rank, run style (from sectional times) and ELO, shown against the market price. Most races have no play: the ratings stand on their own. When a runner matches a pattern validated on unseen data, it is logged as a "play" with its price and time before the race, then graded after it. The ledger is public and never edited.

Key facts (updated 2026-10-14):
- Ledger since 2026-08-13: 121 validated plays, 24 won, +17.5u at one unit per play, win only, at the logged price. Every play is written down before the race with its price and time and graded after it; losers are never removed.
- "No play" means no runner in that race matched a validated betting pattern; it is not a verdict on the race, and the ratings still apply. Most races have no play.
- What every runner gets: rank, win chance against the market, run style from sectional times RaceAlpha times itself, ELO rating, previous runs with positions gained, and a written read.
